The Caring Congregation Ministry of First United Methodist Church is made of trained laity who serve as Congregational Care Ministers, caring for the people in our congregation and its extended community.

Jesus had a team. We do, too.

No matter where they serve, our Congregation Care Ministers (CCMs) represent the heart and hands of the church. CCMs meet the people where they are, offering Christlike healing to all people.

We are a community of faith for all people where everyone is seen as a child of God. Each person is treated with empathy, respect, and acceptance. Our CCMs seek to meet people at their lowest and draw them to the mercy and loving care of God by providing emotional, social, and spiritual support for those in need and who may be suffering a crisis alone.
